San Carlos Island is technically part of the Town of Fort Myers Beach, but is a separate island between the mainland and Estero Island. While most people just pass right through, San Carlos Island is home to a number of restaurants, a gas station, the Trolley park-and-ride lot, the Key West Express Ferry and the only strip club I know of in the town limits.
