Dog Beach

Even though there are dog parks in the area, if your dog loves the water, it will have more fun at the beach. Its not illegal to take your dog to Fort Myers Beach, and dogs are allowed off the leash at this area of the beach. It is significant to note that cleanup stations are provided. Note however, that you will need to have a copy of health records with you at all times. The beach is run by Lees County Parks and Recreation. Smugglers Cove Adventure Golf course at Fort Myers Beach is an 18-hole Adventure style miniature golf course situated on the fantastic Barry Island promenade and features a live educational alligator exhibit.
