I’ve been hearing about the beach widening / dredging project going on at the north end of the island but hadn’t seen it myself so I decided to walk up and check it out and get a few photos. These photos are taken as you enter the gulf-side beach from Bowditch Point Park.
This really makes it look like a construction zone, but the beach south of where I was standing was normal with people laying out and just watching what was going on.
